Kuzhambu Podi / Curry Powder is a ready mix powder use to prepare all types of kulambu varieties / South Indian gravies. Ingredients needed

Coriander Seeds – 20 TableSpoon
Red Chilli – 100 Grams
Peppercorns – 10 Grams
Fenugreek Seeds – 1 TableSpoon
Channa dal / Kadalai Parupu – 20 Grams
Tuvar Dal / Toor Dal / Thuvaram Parupu – 20 Grams
Urad dal / Uludham parupu – 20 Grams
Par Boiled Rice / Pulungal arisi – 20 Grams
Turmeric – 2 TableSpoon
Cumin Seed/ Jeera – 2 TableSpoon
Curry leaves – 4 Sprig

The Preparation Methods:

Step 1: Sun dry the red chillies and coriander seeds for 2 days, or if its very hot weather 1 day dry is enough, and keep it ready

Step 2: Dry roast the ingredients on low flame, one by one, till the fragrant comes.

Step 3: Cool it for 20 minutes and then grind all the ingredients together in a mill to get fine powder. You can make this powder at home in small batches using blender too

Step 4: All ingredients should be dry, it should not be moisture, else bugs will come when store.

Step 5: You can make any veg or non-veg curries, stir fries.
