Ingredients needed

For grinding:
Mint leaves / Peppermint – 20 Grams
Green Chilli Raw / Green Chilli Peppers – 10 Grams
Salt – 1 Teaspoon
Canola Oil – 1 TableSpoon
Asafoetida (Hing) – 2 Grams
Tamarinds Raw – 5 Grams
Coconut_Shredded – 20 grams
Garlic Raw / Garlic Cloves – 2

To Temper:
Mustard seeds – 2 Grams
Urad dal – 2 Grams

The Preparation Methods:

Step 1: Remove stalks and take the mint leaves alone. Wash the mint leaves and keep it aside. Drain the water well.

Step 2: Heat 2-3 tsp of oil , add mint Leaves and green chilli, garlic little for flavour and saute for a few more seconds .

Step 3: Now switch off the flame and add the grated coconut, Asafoetida (Hing) and mix well.

Step 4: Grind everything with needed salt, tamarind and very less water.

Step 5: Heat a tsp of oil, add mustard seeds, when mustard splutters, add urad dal, when dal turns golden brown, pour the seasoning over the chutney.

Enjoy with idly, dosa, parathas, adai, upma, pongal, bread, roti, Rava Pongal,etc.
